Undergraduate Student Research
ECHO creates research opportunities for motivated undergraduate students with exceptional academic records. ECHO offers the opportunity to participate in pediatric and/or child health research with the goal of piquing students' interest in research, which may lead to formal training and a career in health research. Typically, undergraduate students are involved in projects related Dr. Scott's ongoing research through Summer Studentships. These can be funded by Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Alberta Innovates-Health Solutions (AIHS), Women and Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI), the Faculty of Nursing, or through the Undergraduate Honours Program.
